Simply Drop is a a pilot recycle for cash scheme run by Royal Mail where users send their devices and receive a payment. In this project we needed a quick and easy to use framework which already had included components that we would need, such as authentication, database access via active record but also needed it to be fast and efficient, Yii fitted the bill exactly.
